A bit surprised we had 5 different answer key methods. Didn't like tents answer key much.

The answer keys were error prone in this round. We can see very few submissions without penalties. (only 30 in top 100)

First of all congrats to Ulrich Voigt, Kota Morinishi, Endo Ken, Michael Ley and Prasanna Seshadri for taking top 5 slots in international ranking. Congrats to Rohan, Rakesh, Swaroop, Jayant and Puneet for taking top 5 Indian slots. I missed Amit in this test and still missing Kishore's feedback regarding this test.

Let me summarize about this test. This is my first Puzzle Test on LMI. Earlier I have authored two Sudoku test and few Mock tests on LMI. My initial target was to create this test as easy one and I started with creating Minesweeper puzzles. When I tested these puzzles I found these puzzles very easy and decided to increase the level of difficult with each puzzle type. I then created Akari, Tents and Pentomino puzzle in the increasing order of difficulty. However when I tested these puzzles I found Pentomino puzzle to be very tough and then decided to keep Battleship puzzle very easy to make the test balanced.

When I volunteered to author this test around 8 months back then we were given target that Prasanna should be able to complete this test in 55Mins. When I saw Prasanna completing this test in 62 Mins, I thought that I could meet the target to make the test not so hard. However I missed the fact that on last 8 months Prasanna has improved his puzzle solving skill to stand in top 5 in world. Congrats Prasanna for continuous improving. Looking forward to see you in top 3 in world ranking soon. This in fact also tell that this test turned out to be on tougher side. I am looking forward to your feedback to improve further on my puzzle creation skills. So if you have not yet given your feedback, please do post it asap.

One feedback which we got was that answer keys were error prone which I fully agree and in fact I have experienced it myself when I entered the keys to check that everything is fine with online interface. However at that point of time it was too late to change it as everything was put in place for the test. I am sorry for these answer keys especially of Tents puzzles and we will definitely improve upon this in future.

Looking forward to authoring more LMI tests in future :)

Let me start another post to thank Deb for all his help for this test. In fact he should be the co-author of this test as he contributed more than me for this test. Thanks again Deb for making this test a success :)
