Overlapping and Disjoint variants were tough; Infact I started with those 9*9 variants and got trapped; Broke multiple times and missed the easier ones; Even forgot to enter the answers for three 6*6 variants; Overall a bad performance by me

Hello, online solving doesn't work properly on firefox, it's impossible to set the candidates. All works fine on chrome. (Ubuntu Linux 16.04, firefox 51.0.1)

Disjoint 9x9 was harder than Overlapping one.

Coming to the customary note of thanks. :)

Congratulations to Tiit, Jakub O & Michael for taking the top 3 spots and also to Rohan, Kishore & Manjiri for topping the Indian rankings . From what I have been informed, there were 400 participants & 358 non zero scores, which is a record number of participants for LMI excluding the WPF Sudoku GPs and the puzzle marathon held at LMI. 38 people completed the set. Congratulations to all.

It had been more than a year since I have participated in a sudoku tournament or created any puzzle so when LMI asked me to author a set for SM, I readily agreed. But when I actually sat down to create, I realised how out of sync I was. Keeping the core target audience for SM in mind the set had to be easily solvable and I tried my best to keep all puzzles simple which would not require any advanced techniques to be used. All puzzles could be solved using Naked/Hidden singles/Pairs. Yet I consciously made an effort to see that the answers are not a dead giveaway. This could be one of the primary reasons that a few people found the puzzles tough.

I am thankful to LMI team for giving me the opportunity to create a set of sudokus after a long time for the second episode of Sudoku Mahabharat. I hope everyone enjoyed it. :)

Rishi
