Location: India | there seems to be few obvious errors in the IB.. Also looking for some clarifications..
Round 3 :
X-Sums - Hope the instruction is correct and the example is wrong
Next to 9 Sudoku - 9 has to be between the 2 given clues?? and the given example is wrong (Row 5)
Round 4 :
No Nines Sudoku - Does it mean sum of 2 adjacent numbers only or 3 numbers will also do (2, 3 & 4)
Consecutive Sequence Sudoku - The numbers need not be in sequence as in 879 is permitted (its there in the example)
Round 6 :
Hex Sudoku - "3 possible direction" means One side diagonal rules apply?
Round 9:
Between Sudoku - The number has to between the numbers in the circle. R1C6, R2C7, R3C6 is incorrect

Location: India | I also got a medal for finishing 23rd :P There is a special award for the "Xth rank of the Xth WPC", so since this was the 23rd WPC, I got that one. Half the participants apparently don't know that this is the reason for the medal  |

Some of you may be surprised to see the Indian WPC Team. Well, Anurag wasn't sure of traveling until the last day, so we promoted Jayant to the A-Team, who joined Prasanna, Swaroop and me. Anurag did end up coming, only to participate unofficially.
I will write about the championships on my blog this week, but I'm happy I ended up with another top-20 WSC rank and kudos to Prasanna for securing India's best individual rank at the WPC (23rd). Rishi's performance was a little disappointing (he says age is catching up ;-) ), Swaroop has improved from last year and Jayant's debut performance is promising. |

Location: India | Nice little summary, Rohan. I am quite disappointed with my WSC performance actually. In fact, the more I reflect, the more disappointed I get :\ In a week or so I'll probably rate it worse than my 71st in 2011. |
