Posts: 199 Location: United States | I have two instant reactions to this test. First, absolutely incredible puzzles, beautifully constructed and amongst the best I've ever solved. Phenomenal job Rishi. Second, I'm kicking myself for answer entry problems which spoiled a much better score. Not the fault of the new entry mechanism. Just bad transcription from paper.

Second, I'm kicking myself for answer entry problems which spoiled a much better score. Not the fault of the new entry mechanism. Just bad transcription from paper. Thanks a lot Thomas... Means a lot coming from you.... and yes... I was awake keenly watching you solve... Your timing was not far off from my estimate.... then I saw the entry typo... was sitting here hoping you notice it and you eventually did ... Great job once again Thomas.. Rishi

Diagonal Vision Author Posts: 337 Location: Switzerland | Very nice grids, Rishi ! I completely failed the tournament . I got stuck for a very long time on a single grid, finishing it by finding a mistake, and after that I knew I would not do a good result and was a bit demotivated, so I made a few more grids but very slowly. I returned several hours later to the grids that I had not solved, so now I can say there are top-quality grids Hope to do better next time... Fred

Posts: 13 Location: Germany | I'm not sure if I've understood the text boxes correctly. I couldn't find the information anywhere if I should enter two columns, two rows or one of each. So I decided to always enter two rows and now hope that was correct... Edit: Not to speak of the time it took me to search for this information as I expected some arrows or other marks beside the diagram to tell me which rows/columns to enter. Edit2: Looking at my score it was definitely meant in some other way... Edited by Calavera 2011-02-13 11:28 PM

Calavera, in the grid that is shown online, you will find a button "show cells to fill". Once you click that, the grid will highlight which row, column needs to be filled. Rishi

At least I'll know next time :-/. Apart from that I liked the contest. Edited by Calavera 2011-02-13 11:35 PM
