The Tripod seemed very hard to me (especially for 20 points). I just could not find the starting point :(

Congratulations Ulrich for the top position, so 8 different winners in each of the GPs.

Only 8 players have solved it successfully, though it is only a 20-pointer. So certainly something is wrong.

Note, all claims were rejected except when typos involving given clues were involved and 2 other exceptional cases.

Note : Although the GP best of 6 points seems accurate, it is not official. The official ranks will be available in WPF site.

The authors may have their own good reason for distributing the scores like that especially for tripod. This round is truly a satisfying sudoku competition for me..

Just realized I hadn't given feedback for this one with all the IPC related preparations. This was a really nice test. I think most negative feedback will be from the folks who tried the Tripod. I'm one of them. I needed to be told the logic by the author after I was done, and I still felt that there is no way its worth 20 points. The only negative in this test in general was the points distribution, but that can happen sometimes. Otherwise, perfect mix, something for everyone, and I had a really good time. Thanks to the authors.

Hi all, I'm the author of the tripod. I'm very sorry that most of people found a problem in it... Stefano explained exactly the way it was supposed to be solved in the link in deb's post.
The key was to figure how to place the number four in each area, and in particular the four in r6c5.
It wasn't suppose to be a easy puzzle, and the low points were a mistake.
