This looks like the right kind of atmosphere and approach to solving monthly tests.... it also ensures people from the same place start interacting and getting to know each other... Since the next monthly sudoku test is on Nov 13/14... why dont we have a similar get together in Hyderabad... All those in Hyderabad can meet up...

Although there was not much feedback in the forum (apart from Lenson's), I had a feeling that the meeting was hugely successful. We'll definitely meet up in Bangalore again in few months' time.

Couple of points from my past experience
1) We need to plan little ahead of time. Players may have some other plans. If you are planning to meet on 13/14, it is perfect to start planning now.
2) Getting players is bit difficult. Probably many players don't read these kind of topics on the forum. All the 9 players we had at Bangalore were either through email / phone. You already have 3 in Hyd (Jaipal and Neeraj being the other two). I'll send you a list of players who are believed to be in Hyd as per our old database.

thanks for the inputs Deb... I will personally mail and try to call the participants from Hyderabad.... As you correctly said we didnt see much responses from the Bangalore crowd as to what they did post/before the test.. that would give us few ideas too... in Hyderabad.. I would like to all people to spend atlest 1 hr after the test to discuss puzzles and strategies.... this will help every one to improve too and learn new ways...

Deb has already sent me a list of people from Hyd Neeraj... For now Im very sure about you, jaipal and I... if we can manage even 4 more it would be nice... I will be mailing them as well as try and call them.... lets see how it goes
