What was your opinion of the distribution of easy/hard puzzles? Just right
What did you think about the puzzle quality of the test? Very nice
Which set of puzzles did you like the most? Killer Sudoku
Of the puzzles you solved/attempted, how well did the point values reflect the difficulty? Most puzzles were worth the right amount

I can't say I'm convinced by the diagonally linked cages for killer - and again whilst I'm not sure it's a bad thing overall, but in terms of the feedback the form asks for, this target distribution seems to be something of a nonsense. Perhaps this little and large format is too limiting?

Very nice puzzles (!) but I found the 9x9 variations quite hard

A very hard set.I always find Math variants inherently difficult and this set was no exception.Nonetheless, I was in a good position to complete the set with 14 mins left (and 5-6 min spent at the start) for the Little Killer which just spoiled my test totally. The start logic which I got after the test was just too difficult for me to find during the test.I wouldn't have minded something like this in the middle of the solve but if it's at the start it's like, either you get the logic and complete or you don't complete at all and suffer.I fell into the latter and which is why I personally wouldn't prefer sudokus like these in a contest.

Favourites are killer ,258 outside and Diagonal product.
An average experience and an ok test overall for me.Thanks Gaurav for the set.

These were some beautiful and a bit hard type of puzzles. All the puzzles were great and I enjoyed solving them.

Sudoku N was my favorite hands down. Especially the 9x9 grid which did not have a single dot given. :)

On a personal note, I felt the Diagonal Product 9x9 could have been given a few more clues. It would require a lot of elimination and pencilmarking which again in my opinion was too much in this puzle. In a time bound competition, players tend to jump to T&E rather than enjoy the beauty of a logical solve. But again it could be that I missed seeing the opening that was intended. :)

Overall, Great Job Gaurav :)

The contest page and this thread says 30th April. The top banner says 1st May. When does the test actually end?

Normally I find the tests are always extended by a day. Instead of extending it, make all testes closing time to Tuesday midnight IST. For me the week ends are always busy and I used to participate on Mondays. If I know that the test closing time is Tuesday I can participate without any time pressure.

1) IN Sudoku N 9*9 NO DOTS WERE MARKED SO EXACTLY WHAT WAS EXPECTED?

2) IN KILLER SUDOKU (2) 9*9 CAGES IN THE 7 & 9 SQUARES WERE NOT MARKED PROPERLY,SO IT WAS CONFUSING

3) LITTLE KILLER (2) 9*9 WAS DIFFICULT SO M0RE THAN 15 POINTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED ATLEAST 18 TO 20

I usually solve online, some schemes were very confusing, the numbers of the killer overlapping the candidates.

1) Please read the rules again. All possible dots are supposed to be marked. Since zero dots are there, nowhere can a mathematical operation on 2 adjacent cells result in N. So using this, find N, apply the converse rule everywhere and solve.
2) Cages were different from normal cages and they were marked clearly enough for one to solve.
3) All points are allocated based on tester experience, and Little Killer has been allocated 15 points. Your experience can differ.

And, please try to use normal case instead of ALL CAPS.

Thanks for bringing this up (again). We will review the feedback form but changes, if any, may not happen in this year's contests.
