In the rules for Tapa Loop, it states that the loop cannot touch itself - is diagonal touching allowed, as in the example?
Actually, before publising IB, I read the instructions, when I got the "touch" in the rules of Tapa Loop, I thought it is not necessary. Because the loop in fact can touch itself. But this "touch" is not that "touch". Tapa Loop "touch" means loop cannot pass through in any cell twice. |

In Tapa Borderline,
if there are two clues on border then is it necessary that both should go in either of 1 cell or is it possible that each clue go in one cell each ?
Both should go in one cell. Multiple digits are considered as a whole "clue" and they move together.

If that is the case, instead of "cross or touch", "cross or overlap" is probably a more common description as used in other loop types. |

No, each island should have one clue cell. MAY should be changed to Should in the instruction.

Your assumption is right, there may be islands without clues. Sorry again.
In that case does the example has multiple solutions e.g. if R1C2 is blackened and R1C6, R2C6 are made white (part of Island)? |
