In search 9, i am getting R1C6 = 1, R2C7 = 9 which makes R7C2=5 & R7C7=5 which becomes inconsistent.

Did the Instructions Booklet (IB) provide enough information about participating in ISC? Yes, mostly.
Did you understand the Sudoku variations rules and examples from the IB? I understood all of them.
Did you find enough easy Sudokus to solve during the championship? No, there were really few easy puzzles.
Did you find enough easy / familiar variations to solve during the championship? Yes, there were many of them.
After your experience in ISC, are you going to participate in future championshiops or contests at LMI? Most likely

I loved OEV. Wasn't that difficult as IB or Rajesh's and hence optimally suited !!

Best puzzles:

1. OE View
2. Anti Knight - Exquisitely designed
3. Extra Regions
4. Search 9 - Started 2 times as I forgot the first 9 for 45 degree arrows

That puts an end to ISC 2015!What a delightful contest!.My favourites of the set were Diagonal 1,Extra-Regions,Arrow and Killer.I had a good time solving the rest too but these stood out in terms of solving fun and design.

Diagonal 1 had the total top half empty.Very hard and nice.Extra regions was innovatively designed utilizing the concept of Buddy cells well .Killer had something going in it with the non-caged cells in each box and last but not least, I always find arrows to be very pleasant when they are longer and the min./max. of each cell on the arrow stem is to be decided.

On a personal note,I rarely had any hiccups on any of the sudokus.I was confident of completing the set with just the Shapes to be done and dusted and about 12 mins in the offing. But as things would have it,I failed to see a simple straightforward deduction for about 6mins.Lack of mental stamina maybe!phew!!!But this little thing never blemished my experience of the contest in any way and I don't even repent now of failing to see it .

After the contest, I had a go at the shapes and there were things like Sword-fish that I noted which fascinated me a lot.I thanked my stars that I gave it at the last as I would have been stuck forever.PS:I am still stuck in the shapes and yet to complete it!But I just admire it for its unique construction.Great work!

Thanks to Deb and to all the authors for creating such an excellent test and making the weekend very enjoyable.Great work addressing the queries promptly too.

Kishore

After breaking 6 Sudokus and needing to re-solve each of them I hardly deserve plaudits for my accuracy

If it is any consolation then I also broke both the toroidals. Luckily they were 6x6 so not much time lost ??

I just somehow found a way to break each one right at the end. Would just liked to have closed the gap a little is all (and maybe avoided the re-prints )

Seriously though, need to get back my accuracy before the WSC.
