Thanks everyone for the very encouraging feedback.

I think Kumaresan deserves all the credit as he set the tone for this test with a large number of submissions in a very short span of time.
This is the first test that he has authored and I could see the quality of sudokus improving with each submission that he made, so we can expect a lot more from him in the coming years.

Apart from the classics he took up all the variants on the Odd/Even side right from identifying the variants to constructing them beautifully. Odd Even theme has been done several times so we selected 2 variants which were introduced in Indian WSCs, All Odd All Even in WSC 2008 and Odd Even Bridge in WSC2017. I was not familiar with 2 Even 2 Odd, but I think it does a lot of justice to the theme and it offers a lot of possibilities.

For Substitution there are a lot of types like Pips, Roman, Digital, etc. which eventually convert into pencil marks sudoku. To introduce some variety we included Coded and True/Lie along with Substitution sudoku.
Coded Sudoku was the toughest of the round and Rakesh had indicated that in his feedback, but we persisted with this version as the deduction required at the sticking point is very similar to that required in classic sudoku solving.

Thanks Rakesh and Prasanna for your test solves and helping with the points distribution to reflect the puzzle difficulties.

Thanks to everyone for participating. I hope you enjoyed this set of sudokus.

Thanks to every one. First, I want to say one thing. The output from me is due to ignite by Prasanna, encouragement by Rakesh and fine tuning by Amit. I learned lot from this while working with Amit. Secondly, as Amit said I will surely contribute with improved puzzles in coming years. Finally, Thanks to LMI for giving me an opportunity to co-author an episode.

What was your opinion of the distribution of easy/hard puzzles? Just right
What did you think about the puzzle quality of the test? Fairly Nice
Which set of puzzles did you like the most? Coded Sudoku
Of the puzzles you solved/attempted, how well did the point values reflect the difficulty? Most puzzles were worth the right amount
