To the organizers: I would like to put in a claim to have my E1 answer adjudged correct, even though there was an error in entering the last digit of the answer key. I'm making this claim here as I no longer (temporarily) have access to my results page, having refreshed it soon after seeing it.

To all players : We'll review all wrong answers (irrespective of claimed or not). But please allow us few hours.

As long as you were able to make submissions between 2 PM and 4.45 PM, those submissions will be counted.

Thanks to the organisers (or rather, organiser) for conducting IPC 2012. As always, puzzles were great.

Some of the puzzles that were exceptionally good are: Inside Skyscrapers, Coded TomTom, Battleships 2, Coloured Star Battle, Tapa Borders and Masyu.

Considering the official 16:45 (IST) cut-off time : here are the top 4 Indians

1) Rohan Rao
2) Prasanna Seshadri
3) Amit Sowani
4) Rakesh Rai

Congratulations guys.

Complete results will be out later in the night.

Please note : The championship is still open for international players. So don't post something like "Puzzle X" was extremely hard or very easy.

Thanks to all the Organizers, Authors, puzzle testers and LMI team, for a wonderful competition.
I have enjoyed all the puzzles that I have solved. I am shocked to see that I have submitted answers with no errors.

And regarding the power cut, Yes there are power cuts at many places at around 2, even I had power cut, So I have completely relied on my laptop backup and MS Paint.

Regards,
Ravi

I have now come 2nd to Rohan on the National stage too. I'm officially the best at coming 2nd to Rohan :P

I really enjoyed the set of puzzles. Made some silly errors, and probably not my best performance, but happy with it nonetheless.

Congrats Rohan, Amit, Rakesh. :)

Thanks to Deb for single handedly organising the test this year.
And thanks to the authors who have created some wonderful puzzles.

It is great to see Prasanna's strong performance (under par as he would put it.)
After IPC 2011 I had told him that I would participate the following year and he can expect stiffer competition to make it to the team.
Looks like he took it very seriously :P
Also goes to show how much practice of not only solving but also puzzle creation helps in a great way.

Congrats Rohan on retaining the title :)

And most happy to see Rakesh, with him we definitely can form a team that can challenge the top few teams.

I agree that the top 4 this year is close to what I think is India's current strongest team. I say 'is close to' and not 'the best' because it is difficult to replace Rajesh, considering his experience (This is probably the first time in a decade that he isn't in the main team).

But Prasanna has been in good form with his recent improvement, Rakesh has been one of the most consistent top Indians at LMI and Amit still has the best Indian rank at a WPC, so the team is surely a stronger one compared to the last few years...
