Logo on the test page is too large that it covers other text. (It's so large that it covers the IB link; even though it's visible, you can't click on it. I have to zoom out to shrink the logo so I can click it.)

And questions:

General: Instant grading or not?
Battleships: When entering answer key, do we include the pink/gray cells in answer key? Like, if the answer key is the second column, will it be 20200 (with pink cell) or 2200 (without)?

As in the IB, there will be no gray cells in the answer key.

If they grey cells in battleships are not part of the answer string and the IB tells us to ignore them (assuming that means they count as sea and can contain ships), then why are they there?

I read that as that the gray cells are not part of the grid. They are effectively sea squares. Why gray cells instead of usual wavy lines indicating sea, I don't know.

On further consideration, I agree with your reading, and I'm going forward with the understanding that ships cannot occupy those cells.

On the circular maze, (#18), the arrow "A" starts in the middle of an edge. Is the edge containing the arrow the last one or the first one around the circle? (if it contains a wall, do we count that wall as part of the first group or the last group). For example, if there were a single wall of length 3 on that circle, lying in the sector above the A, the sector containing the A, and the sector just below, would the answer key be 12 or 21?

The edge containing the arrow is the first one. The answer would be 21 in your example.

Lots of interesting puzzle types in this test. I really enjoyed the ones I managed to get to.

Great puzzles, I enjoyed all of the ones that I had time for. It did seem like the XO type was over-represented though, with 1/3 of the puzzles being variations of this type. That said, some of the variations were really interesting, I especially enjoyed the XII puzzle.

Hello, I have written the answers for question 6 but have forgotten to click the 'submit' button !It is clear from the timing that it is not a last second submission. So is it possible to correct my total points accordingly ?

Whoops, doing this right after I wake up might not be a very good idea, with a slow start...

The obvious complaint is that there are too many XO puzzles and variations (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12). There could have been a better spread of puzzles. The puzzles themselves were nice; nothing particularly memorable though.

"Mostly perfect" answer keys instead of perfect because Interstellar Route has an awful answer key. Would be better with "lengths of loop segments in row", "column number of black cells", or "letters visited in order", something like that. While I didn't solve it, Build a Circular Maze also looked to have a pretty awkward answer key.

Otherwise, pretty enjoyable; at least it's a puzzle test. Not the best, but still good enough.

Thanks, that was a lot of fun! It's true that there were a lot of no-four-in-a-row puzzles, but while I don't particularly care for the base type, I really enjoyed them here.

Thanks for the puzzles Riad.
It was interesting to figure out new rules for the OX, COOLLL types as you go along.
