Posts: 12 Location: India | Participated in the Delhi championship today. Not too good a performance as completed all the grids in 50 minutes. First three were less than 40 minutes - congrats to them great show. But dont know what is the other's ranking? Suggest in future all who have completed all the grids in stipulated time be called in front on stage and the three winner are announced from the lot.

Posts: 9 Location: India | Does anyone who checked my puzzle know or remember what mistakes and how many mistakes I had made in my submission? I was in the Mumbai round. I had submitted as soon as I finished solving, without checking the solutions even once. I think I probably missed filling in a cell or so. I realized how grave a mistake I had made after the paper left my hands.

PR 2020 (Casual and Word) Author Posts: 349 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: India | I remember checking your sheet and you ended up making mistakes in 4 puzzles, most of which were trivial errors. Without these error you would have been in second place. You have good speed, but need to work on avoiding the errors.

In Mumbai and Delhi rounds, there were a few elimination rounds (4 classics / 20 mins) followed by a final round (6 classics + 2 variants / 60 mins) Other details at http://toi.in/sudoku

Posts: 9 Location: India | O.O Mistakes in 4 puzzles!! I was too careless. Thank you for replying though! :) Else I would have thought I had missed solving one whole page when the rankings would have come. Now I guess I would be amongst the last persons or so in the standings.. If only I had spent a few minutes on checking I would have been in a better position..

The priority right now is to complete all the regional rounds and the finals. Will there be a list of Top 10 (or so) participants in each round?

Now I guess I would be amongst the last persons or so in the standings.. If only I had spent a few minutes on checking I would have been in a better position.. I had mistakes in a total of 3 puzzles (one restarted and re-broken repeatedly until time was up (I did this a lot back then :| )) in 2012. Slowing yourself down a little bit during practice to make sure you're accurate should help.

Plus, the Mumbai article keeps referring to Amit in plural for some reason. He is either 'Puzzle creators' or 'Puzzle partners'. At least Deb is 'from puzzle partners' ![]()
