In either case, the example solution is not unique. 1) Consider it as 30 1-unit segments. 14) The former must be minimized. You're right about the example, we will get it fixed in version 2. Can any loops be formed? If so, how do we count its length? A Chain is a single continuous path without crossings and branches (these structures can happen but won't be included in the count). The path must contain a tree or a tent in every cell along it. It can form a loop. The length is always counted as number of cells containing tents + number of cells containing trees along the path. We will incorporate some of this into version 2. Thanks! | ||
