When you initiate the contest, the time limit of the contest starts. You have to solve all the puzzles within this time. However, note that you can submit one puzzle at a time.

The main rounds of Sudoku Mahabharat finals and Indian Sudoku Championship are largely the same. However, the aim of Sudoku Mahabharat is to encourage new solvers. From the main rounds, players who are eligible for SM playoffs move forward to compete in SM playoffs and thereby the winners of SM are decided. You can read about the eligibility of SM playoffs here.

That's great to see the FAQ updated, especially with the shift away from Flash. I remember struggling to submit a puzzle once because of Flash compatibility issues. Clear and accessible resources are so crucial!

When will the list of qualified participants for the offline finals of SM2026 be released?


During this weekend, the full cumulative results will be put up. The top 60 will receive a mail once the venue and other details are finalized, as a right to first refusal. If there are spots after that, a waiting list will be shared and it is first-come-first-serve to fill up the spots. So "qualified participants" is probably a loose term here.
