Location: India | KimKing - 2010-05-23 1:11 PM that's was very hard.. I can't do anything.. sorry to hear that. may be 2 things would have helped you 1. solving the the types which are new to you individually from other mocks (for example mock12) 2. solving the example puzzles

Mean Minis (2020) Author Posts: 774 Location: India | Thanks Deb and Amit. This was undoubtedly THE best contest at LMI, in terms of the puzzle quality. The idea of Mastermind twins had turned out to be a masterstroke. Also, glad to see the high participation - my guess of 90 was fairly close (as the results show 92 participants - including Deb and Amit).

Diagonal Vision Author Posts: 337 Location: Switzerland | Administrator - 2010-05-23 9:40 PM Thanks to all the participants. Special thanks to Harmeet for pre-testing the site. Fred gave me couple of tips on how to increase the participation from his TFOSCAWSC experience. Thanks Fred! Thanks for giving me the possibility to play earlier. I made a lot of mistakes on this test. A lot of french players could not play, because we had a meeting this weekend and we prefer drink beer than play sudoku However, congrats to ours brun, calista and valsudo who try to do the test during this meeting ! Triplets & Triangles Author Posts: 63 Location: United Kingdom | Deb, The beautiful instruction booklet persuaded me that this was going to be the best online Sudoku competition to date and I wasn't disappointed. Really enjoyed solving all the puzzles. Found the anti-knight and touchy very hard but the consecutive easier than expected. Made a stupid mistake on Trio with a couple of minutes left. Congratulations to Jason, Nikola and Branko but especially congratulations to yourself. Worth getting up at 5.40am for. David McNeill.

Location: India | I was expecting more than 3 players to get bonus points, but I think bad mistakes cost bonus points to Michael, David, Gotroch, Frederique. Gotroch would have got close to 25 minutes bonus points, had his 7 and 8 not swapped. I think 2 hours was just perfect for the set of Sudokus. All thanks to Amit who tested and set the Time Limit of 2 hours.

Location: India | neerajmehrotra - 2010-05-23 3:14 PM What can I say / do? Finally, we had close to 20, which is "ok" kinda number. very less Indian participants???????????????? But the more concerning factor is there was only 1 in top 10, Congrats to Ritesh (who is getting back to form after WSC) I chatted with both Rohan and Gaurav regarding their performance, which was way below my expectation. I feel Indians are not taking it as seriously as others. [PS : This absolutely my personal opinion, not that of LMI's] Also, probably thats the reason why some players just start the test and don't submit the answers.
