Location: India | Good news! Mock Test 13 by Logic Masters India is scheduled to be on 21st Feb, 2010 (14:30 GMT). For convenience of players across the globe (and afternoon snoozers ;-) ), you can now participate in the mock test anytime from 22:00 IST on 20th Feb to 20:00 IST on 21st Feb (from 16:30 GMT on 20th Feb to 14:30 GMT on 21st Feb) for the mock duration of 2hrs to be given in one stretch. You CANNOT start the mock test after 18:00 IST (12:30 GMT) as submission ends at 20:00 IST (14:30 GMT).
On the mock test link http://logicmastersindia.com/mock13/mock13.asp once you click on START MOCK, your time will start and you will have exactly 120 minutes to solve and submit your answers.
Please Note: On the answer page, there will not be a timer to show the time but every time you click on 'Submit' (for any puzzle) it will show how much time you have remaining.
For any questions/queries/doubts, please ask on the forum.

I gave the mock today. It went terrible. But I was amazed to see that the site would not let me login with another username once I have given the test. Moreover, it freezes the username in other browsers too. Even after clearing the browser history, temp files, cookies and everything, its freezed.I would like to know, how did you do this. Because, my ip address is always dynamic and changes each and every time i connect to the internet.I have never witnessed anything like this.
(If someone gives the mock thru a cyber cafe and lateron another guy comes to the same cafe and connects thru the same pc, then..........)
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Please reply |

Location: Switzerland | I finally had time to finish grids of the 13th mocktest. Grids were beautiful and hard. During the test, I managed 4 grids: even product frame, consecutive sum frame, Outside antiknight and Sequences equal sum. I made stupid mistakes on end of odd even no touch and extra-region quadro.
I made other grids this week. I found non-consecutive numeral, odd multiplication table and irregular kropki very tough, perhaps more difficult than surprise and sequences equal sum, which brought yet more points...
I found that grids of the booklet were a little too easy compared to the grid test.
Otherwise, I congratulate Rohan and Tejal for these fine grids.

After all the feedback we've received, Tejal and I agree that Odd Multiplication Table was tough and deserved more points. Irregular Kropki is a 3 minute puzzle once you get the opening, so I think that was OK. Non-Consecutive Numeral needed a little trial and error too.
IB puzzles were VERY VERY EASY :D, we made it in a hurry, so you're right on that aspect. (Maybe thats why you earlier commented that 10 sudokus in 2hrs shouldn't be a problem ;-) ) |
