In Practice,
Akichiwake, r6c3 is not 9 but 7?

The number given is not necessarily reached.

EDIT: ...

Thanks for your opinion.
I skipped the words 'maximum possible'...

Whee, some seriously other-universly types here. When I saw the Heyawake variant rules I thought at least it can't be as weird as Hayeweka, but it feels almost as twisted when solving. Thanks for the practice puzzles, by the way! (Is that Kakuro de Ni-keta insanely hard by any chance?)

I think that type is inherently gonna be hard most of the time, unless the author makes a real effort towards simplifying things (giving more two-cell sums, etc. in the layout, or obviously low sums, neither of which "that" Prasanna did here extensively ). But yes, this one's a bit hard, and good practice for the high pointer on the test, I feel.

Also, hope you have the changed version with the 40 sum in R2. Just checking to make sure.

Note - There are a few slight issues with the score-page (bonuses, and that my testing submissions are still visible) which should hopefully be fixed by tomorrow.

A lot of truly original puzzle ideas, and they were a lot of fun. Unfortunately there was not enough time to even start many of them, so it seems some of the effort was wasted. I always intend to finish them later but it doesn't always happen. I prefer the marathon/timeless format. The speed demons will still win (with their bonus points) but other solvers will get a chance to try all the puzzles.

It looks like ending time of this test is shown incorrectly in the submission page, which is contrary to what was announced in this forum.
I'm going to participate on Monday night (or Tuesday early morning) in our time, and I'd like to know if this is possible.
