should be

8. OddMax: Can the highest odd digit appear TWO times in four cells?
For example: When the highest odd digit is 3, is the set of (3,3,2,1) OK?

No; the instructions say 'A digit in a circle appears exactly one time in the four surrounding cells...'

Other digits may appear more than once, as is the case multiple times in the example.

As always, I have a few leftover puzzles as well as a few extra practise puzzles. They will be published at the website of LM Germany in the next days in the following schedule:
Saturday: basic chaos and basic toroidal
Sunday: basic scattered and basic double scattered

Basic Chaos, Toroidal, Scattered and Double Scattered are published meanwhile.
These basic puzzles were all on the hard side to be used in the real test.

Enjoy!

A dot is missing in the consecutive sudoku. I'll let you find where

Found it. And corrected it as well. Thx!

Joo M.Y - 2014-07-04 5:22 AM

In Points table,

'13. Equal'

should be

'13. Equal (S)'

Fixed it. Thanks.

There will be an updated IB, but I guess that will be after the test is finished. Both corrections are not that interesting...

Monday: Killer (C) and Low (T)

Two new practice puzzles were added: Killer (C) and Low (T)

Richard - 2014-07-03 6:02 PM
Friday: ? and ? That’s still open. If you like to have one or two more practise puzzles, I can prepare those if I know it by Tuesday evening the latest.

So far, I didn’t receive a request. If you still like one or two extra practise puzzles, just let me know.

As always, I have a few leftover puzzles as well as a few extra practise puzzles. They will be published at the website of LM Germany in the next days in the following schedule:
...
Wednesday: QuadSums (S) and Consecutive Circles (C)
Thursday: Sum 100 (C) and OddMax (S)

As promised, the last puzzles were published yesterday and today:

Quad Sums (S)
Consecutive Circles (C)
OddMax (S)
Sum 100 (C)

Now everyone can have a decent preparation for the test!

Score page doesn't work, although it says that I can see it after solving. Is it a bug or just meant to be so?

Thanks for the puzzles, Richard! I enjoyed the variety, and I thought putting 4 to a page was a good idea. (and when I say a bit too many puzzles, I really mean not quite enough time - for me anyway!)

Cheers,
Dave

Excellent quality puzzles, but very hard. Good for vacation. I miss Me. Stolk's puzzles in Breinbrekers. Maybe someday Puzzelsport will accept credit cards and I could subscribe in the USA.

It's written in red letters on the contest page after you have entered the start 7x7-button.
