Rohan, In the actual puzzle there won't be any 2X2 square which are adjoining to each other. Does that answer your question?

may be 2 things would have helped you
1. solving the the types which are new to you individually from other mocks (for example mock12)
2. solving the example puzzles

Location: India		Thanks Deb and Amit. This was undoubtedly THE best contest at LMI, in terms of the puzzle quality. The idea of Mastermind twins had turned out to be a masterstroke. Also, glad to see the high participation - my guess of 90 was fairly close (as the results show 92 participants - including Deb and Amit).
